Clearing out a closet or a home can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re dealing with childhood treasures, ancestral heirlooms, or ordinary household items, the real dilemma at the heart of the process is: “How do I know what to keep and what to move along?”

This question is deeper than it appears and requires more thoughtful discernment than mere decluttering. Ultimately, the real goal of clearing out is to take pleasure in our surroundings, not to meet an external standard of tidiness.

This online 90-minute workshop will demonstrate a holistic process for seeking inner clarity about what stuff to keep and what to release. It will include energy practices for grounding and calming, prompts for journaling and reflection, and story sharing. We’ll examine our stuff – and ourselves – from a variety of perspectives, noticing our responses and listening for intuition with curiosity and self-compassion.
