What if you could nurture yourself through the difficulties that come your way?
Whether it’s grief and loss, major transition, or exhaustion from overwork, our culture tells us to just muscle through. Or sometimes situations are so overwhelming that we avoid them altogether. It may sound counterintuitive, but taking time to be with yourself at such moments supports positive coping. Many people don’t realize the value of tuning in to themselves, rather than pressing forward or shutting down.
Losing my mom as a child impacted me in ways I did not fully grasp until awakening to grief in young adulthood set me on a path of self-discovery. Over decades, I learned to explore questions to reflect on my experiences, listen to my body’s signals about how I’m feeling, and offer myself compassion. This journey led me to become a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and to write The Art of Reassembly: A Memoir of Early Mother Loss and Aftergrief.
Now I help people connect to themselves as a resource for clarity and calm.
