I love helping people delve into their life experiences using energy techniques, body practices, journaling, and ritual. All of these have been life changing for me. Group sessions around a specific topic allow for sharing stories with one another in addition to personal reflection and learning. All are presented online unless otherwise arranged.
Clearing out a closet or a home can feel overwhelming. The real dilemma at the heart of the process is: “How do I know what to keep?” It’s a deceptively deep question that requires more thoughtful discernment than mere decluttering. This 90-minute workshop demonstrates a holistic process for seeking inner clarity about what stuff to keep and what to release.
Energy First Aid for any Home
Everyday experiences like school or work stress, fears and anxiety, or aching joints and muscles can benefit from simple energy healing techniques. The founder of Healing Touch, a nurse named Janet Mentgen, envisioned many people trained to offer such comfort and support to one another in their homes. This 60-minute workshop presents five practices that can be used on oneself or others.
Grief Story Hour
People who experienced loss in childhood carry that grief throughout their lives and need spaces to talk about it. This 60-minute workshop creates that opportunity no matter how much time as passed since the death. To spark reflection, each features a prompt related to a specific theme of loss, with time for attendees to write and respond individually, followed by group sharing.
Mother (Yourself) Day
Mother’s Day can be so fraught for all kinds of reasons, especially when grief and loss are involved. What if we shifted the focus to offer gestures of mothering care toward ourselves? The Mother (Yourself) Day 60- or 90-minute workshop examines this theme and provides a toolkit for nurturing oneself — body, mind, spirit — all year round.
